Many migrants, refugees and displaced people often live in very precarious situations. The COVID-19 pandemic has put their health and lives at greater risk, especially in overcrowded confines and unsafe conditions typical of many camps or settlements. To protect their lives and limit the spread of the virus, International organisations, States and local authorities must work together with civil society organisations to provide adequate access to health services, clean water and sanitation to refugees, migrants displaced people as well as those who help them.
